3+ hours on a stick man animation, it souds preety stuipid now...

Hello everybody/anybody feeling pretty stupid now after I spent around 3 hours on an animation, of a stick man, hopefully you will like it, sorry I said that wrong, hopefully you won't dislike it too much* Here it be...
It's not quite finished, but I don't know if I want to finish it or not, (not that I'm lazy :P) I might move on to a better animation, I'm getting Adobe Flash in a few days :D, can't wait. you might be seeing some better animations then, sorry got it wrong again, you

might not be seeing some terrible animations then, (I'll remember next time :P.) Hopefully If you don't dislike it (told you I'd remember,) you'll comment, and on future not disliked pictures and animations.

How to put themes on to your PS3 (via PSP/Memory Stick)...

There seems to be a shortage on info on how to let the PS3 find theme's you've downloaded, so I'll take it upon myself to write a short and simple tutorial on it :).

-Firstly before even thinking of downloading anything, you'll need to make 2 new folders in your PSP or memory stick.

-name the first folder PS3 (caps lock and all) and open it.

-whilst in the PS3 folder, create another folder called THEME (also in capitals.)

-now download your PS3 themes and stick them in the THEME folder

(Remember:"PSP/Memory Stick > PS3 > THEME")

The Over Exited Frog the Exploaded...

I decided to make an animation on a frog but it did'nt turn out as I hoped on a .gif file, (although the WMP file looks alright, but still not how I hoped it whould turn out.) The End Is realy, realy, realy bad. but I'll keep trying at it, hopefully I'll be able to use it in Flash, (when I get Flash.)

Art idea: No Idea...

Heres a pic of my art idea called No idea... This looks much better hand drawn but I don't have a scanner or a good camara at the mo. Anyway, here it is...
Click the pic to enlargen

I called this style no idea because he has no eyes (pupils anyway) and that strikes me (and other people) as mysterious, so not knowing what it was called I had "No Idea..."

Check waves in your area

Q.In the past when people wanted to check the beach for waves what whould they do?

A.They'd go down to the beach and check for waves.

your wasting your time, (and your money) If you've never heard of MagicSeaWeed or WindGuru before now.

These websites give you an understanding on what the waves will be like for today and 6 days on. They give you information like Wave hight in m or f depending on which you choose to use. The only real difference between the two sites is that MagicSeaWeed (MSW) is aimed at surfers, and WindGuru (WG) is aimed at wind-surfers, this dosn't mean you have to use WG i your a wind surfer or use MSW if your a surfer. In fact most people I know use WindGuru, and most people I know are Surfers (not wind Surfers.)

Another Difference is that WG gathers more info for you, whilst MSW gives you an over all score and little other info. Niether arn't usualy wrong.

The moral of the post is: Don't live in the past (we have cool gizmos and gadgets)

The Runescape Newbies Guide

What is Runescape?

Runescape is the biggest non-downloadable MMORPG (Massive Multiplayer Online Role Playing Game) on the net, there is over a million players from all over the world and usually thousands on thousands of players online at any one time. Players roam around finding different quests to do, monsters to fight, items to buy and find, skills to raise, other Players to talk to, and much, much, more.

What are Members and non-members?

Members are those that pay a small monthly subscription for extra skills to train, areas, quests, items etc. And non-members are those that don’t pay to get these advantages. All players start of as non-members.
What are Skills?
Runescape has a very simple set-up; there are multiple skills that are non-members. All skills start at level 1, and all you have to do is train (all non-members skills will be explained on how to train.) your skill to raise experience which raises your level, level 99 is the highest for each skill. When you raise your level in any skill to a certain level you will get the chance to raise your level more quickly, E.g. After chopping normal trees in Runescape players get the ability to chop oak trees which cost more at level 15 woodcutting. In this tutorial we will help you learn about, and raise all non-member skills. Skills are very important in Runescape as they are the most common way players make Runescape money, which is called gp. E.g. Chop down trees and sell them on.

What is my Combat Level?

Your Combat Level is what you see when you click on another player after his name, all it is, is a basic add up of your strength, attack, defence, range, and magic which are all different skills that you will learn about soon.

Creating your Account (Player).

Firstly here are some things you need to know before creating your Account...:

· Never put your username and password in to any site other than runescape.com

· When on Runescape don’t ..: Swear, Advertise, Cheat etc.

· Runescape doesn’t have cheats of any sort if other websites say they have cheats don’t listen

1.Runescape will inform you of this and much more when you create your account. I wouldn’t tell you this unless it was necessary but it is as most of the above can land you in serious trouble e.g. account hacked, account banned for life, account banned for number of hours/days etc. But because of this Runescape is a lot cleaner than other role playing games online, now you know we can get on with creating your account...:

2.Click here to go to http://www.runescape.com and click on Play Now > New User

3.Put in a username (username and password are not case sensitive) and password (try not to make it obvious.) then hit the Continue button.

4.Enter your e-mail (this is very important if you don’t want your account hacked and not be able to recover it) address and click boxes about terms and conditions and private policy.

5.This page will tell you the you can also use your new account on funorb.com which is created by Jagex (which also created Runescape) and they offer fun little Runescape like mini-games.

1. 6.Select the HD option (if it says it encountered a problem just use SD.) then click Log In.

It 7.will come up with a screen looking like this at the top of the window it will have a settings tab (hammer..) gender tab (gender signs) head tab (hair..)

3. 8.Follow the tutorial stage and you’ll end up at Lumbridge Castle, (I thought it might be silly making a tutorial on a tutorial.)

Runescape Basic Controls

To move around all you do is click where you want to go with the mouse, to revolve the screen around your player use the arrow keys, and to chat publicly type and hit enter.

The Runescape Game Setup

When you finish the tutorial stage you’ll end up at Lumbridge castle, this is where we’ll practice the basic controls for Runescape and learn about all the buttons.

First there’s the chat box, this is where you can see what everyone has been and is talking about, you can also see if someone wants to trade something with you.

Combat

Combat will show you your combat level and also allow you to chose which type of attack you use when fighting, there are up to four options. The options change when you use different weapons. (Read the costume paragraph to learn about equipping armour and weapons.) These are the basic attacks when you have no weapons equipped.

Punch – will raise your attack.

Kick – will raise your strength

Block – will raise your defence

Skill Levels

To the right you can see a list of skills as they appear on Runescape, the green skills are those that are “free to train” (you don’t need to become a member.) this Include...(from left down then next row): Attack, Strength, Defence, Range, Prayer, Magic, Hit point, Mine, Smithing, Fishing, Cooking, Fire-making, Woodcutting.

Quest List

Quests vary from large to small and simple to almost impossible. There are many quests you can get on with such as:

· The Restless Ghost

· Learning the Ropes

· Imp Catcher

· Etc.

Most quests will have requirements such as skill levels and other quests.

Achievement Diaries

Your Achievement diaries are much like quests but are for specific areas on Runescape, the only free areas are Lumbridge and Drynor but there is plenty to do from easy to intermediate to hard.

Inventory

Your Inventory stores all your items such as food, armour, weapons etc. You can store any item in your inventory after finding it, withdrawing it out of your bank or collecting it from the Grand Exchange (these will be explained later on it the tutorial.)

Costume or Equipment

After clicking on a wearable item in your inventory it will come up here in one of the 12 blank areas on the picture to the right, if you want a better look at your player click the bottom left and it will come up with a rotating image of your player and his + added or – scores to the left. Click on the middle bottom button to check the price or a single or multiple items. Click the bottom right button to check what item you will keep and which you’ll lose if you die.

Prayer

Prayer is a skill that gives you the ability to add extra strength, defence etc. To your player, the Prayer tab gives you the lowdown on which prayer attacks you’re using and how much prayer you have left.

Spell Book

The Spell Book shows you all the spells you’re able to cast using runes. (Runes are 1 use magic stones which can be bought from shops around Runescape; all spells need a certain amount of different runes to cast them.) The Spell Book also tells you what level and what runes you need to have to cast said spell.

Friend List

Your friends list is a very useful tool on Runescape to keep in touch with players, it tells you when your friends are online and which world they are on (usually shown in yellow unless they’re on the same world as you in which case they will be shown as green, if there not logged on at all they will appear in red – worlds will be explained later on.) You can add friends by right clicking there name’s on the chat box and clicking add friend, or you can type in their name manually on the friends tab.

Ignore List

This is basically the opposite of your friends list, you can put in the names of players that are bugging you and you’ll never hear of them again.

Clan Chat

The clan chat tab is a very useful Runescape tool, you send private messages to other players you know through it much like your friends list, except you can talk to multiple people at a time. Click join clan then type in the player whose clan chat you want to join or create your own clan chat in a few clicks. Clan chat also allows you to borrow items of other clan members. All clans have levels of players but not all use them.

Settings

Here you can change your audio and graphics settings; on graphics settings you can change your screen to full screen.

Emotions

Emotions are little 2-10 second movements by your player; you’ll have a number of emotions already, but you’ll be able to unlock more as you play more.

Music

Here you can play all the different tracks that you unlock when you roam throughout Runescape, there are tracks you can unlock from quests and random events.

Notes

Here you jot down little notes about quest info, item numbers, town names etc. You get 30 notes at a time.

The Mini-Map

The mini-map shows you a lot of things...:

· The health bar – shows you how much health you have left.

· The prayer level – shows you how much prayer you have left after you use a prayer attack.

· The Run Bar – shows you how much run you have left in you (right click and sit to save up.)

The Bank

The bank is simply the place where you keep all your items and gp (money) there are banks in all villages and towns in Runescape, if you walk into Lumbridge Castle and go to click on the first flight of stairs then the second and you’ll find a bank. If you want to find other banks click on the world icon on the mini-map and go on quick links and click on the money bag, this will highlight all the banks on the map, this can be used for many other things.
